We Are Ready To Take Our People To The Next Level – By Adebayo Ogunleye, President NCANB

As part of the annual agenda to add value to the people, the President of Nigerian-Canadian Association of New Brunswick (NCANB), Adebayo Ogunleye has concluded plans to do the needful with not only exciting but active programs to create new opportunities for the Nigerian-Canadian that deserves nothing but the best in New Brunswick.

He clearly stated in his brief that the beginning of a new year is a time of promises and hope. It is our prayers that we maintain hope and not succumb to mere wishful thinking as we progress through 2022.
As you all know, every season reminds us that time is not static so we must come together, collaborate and form meaningful partnerships to create and sustain wealth for our next generations.

Along with all the new hopes and promises the year 2022 would bring, we wish it also brings us a lot more opportunities to work together, the servant leader disclosed.

There is a saying that ”Luck is not in our hands but decision is in our hands. Our collective decisions can make luck, but luck cannot make our decisions”. In our decisions, let’s come together to be one indivisible Nigerian community that will bring about the needed change in New Brunswick.

He further said categorically that we would like to remind us that we are still committed to carrying out the passport intervention program in partnership with the NHC, introduce some value adding programs just like the Youth intervention program presently running in Moncton, create more opportunities and support our existing entrepreneurs, assist Newcomers to settle down quickly and help bring about government interventions that will create equal opportunities in our communities. We have started on a good note and would like to invite everyone to join us in this journey to greatness.

Information available revealed that there are laudable programs to be beat and copy for the year 2022 that has been put in motion by the Nigerian-Canadian Association of New Brunswick (NCANB) under the leadership of erudite President, Adebayo Ogunleye. And, these commendable programs include; Passport Intervention, Orientation Programs for newcomers, Career Week, Family Week/Barbecue Challenge, Nigeria week/ Week/Independence Celebration, Annual Award/Summer camp programs for the kids, Adult Summer camp (Tennis Clinic, Golfing and Soccer tournament in Summer), Quarterly Town Hall meeting, Public Health Week, Incentives/Membership discounts, Nigeria Democracy Day Lecture Series, Collaboration with universities and the Business Week.

No doubt, this a notable clarion calls as the Nigerian-Canadian Association of New Brunswick (NCANB) calls on everyone to join hands in building our Nigerian Community.

And on my part, “I will give the forthright, purposeful, committed, honest, and transparent leadership that the situation demands. Together, we shall make NCANB that critical partner of the Government to bring change, improvement and prosperity to New Brunswick”, Adebayo Ogunleye concluded.
