MyWay Express Inc.:

In 2018, I moved to NB from BC for new opportunities. So, I decided to study the demand of delivery service in the Greater Moncton Area by using the delivery platform like Skip, DoorDash and Instacart to learn the geographical area of Greater Moncton.

The result after one year was huge due to the population growth. However, In 2019, during the pandemic, the demand for delivery services went significantly up as people relied on online shopping, which increased the needs of the delivery company that gave birth to the new household delivery company name “MyWay Express Inc.” and later incorporated in January 2021.

About me:

My name is Olatunji Osunkunle, preferred to be called by my middle-name Simeon. I moved to British Columbia in 2016 from Nigeria with my family. I am blessed with a beautiful wife, a gorgeous girl and a good-looking boy.

Professional background:

I have over 17years of working experience in aviation and travel services. I started as a travel consultant, working with several travel agencies providing premium services on Visas, flight, and tours. Eventually, I joined the airlines and worked my way up to become a corporate sales executive and account manager for both local and international airlines and was opportuned to visit about 19 different countries further adding to my exposure.

I also have several working experiences as a customer service specialist with various companies here in Canada.

Aside from being a serial entrepreneur, I am also on a new career path to become a Health Information Management professional.
The Experience:

Having served the GMA for three months of our establishment, we experienced growth that led to our expansion to provide our services to other cities in the province of New Brunswick.

In 6 months, we added transporting vehicles within Atlantic Canada in partnership with other moving companies.

Also, we started the groupage delivery anywhere in Atlantic Canada due to the high demand. We merged specific numbers of interested clients to provide delivery services at an affordable rate.

Finally, we are moving very fast to a corporate delivery business model by offering corporate organizations and retail stores, among others, rush delivery services where we will deliver within short notice of the request. Also, partnering with other courier companies in delivering excellence to their customers.

The Business: 

As a service-providing business, the operational cost is relatively low compared to the product selling business. You do not need a physical office to start; instead, delivery vehicles, registration and permits are required.

Starting a delivery business is simple as long as there is a long-term focus. This means you have to be determined, flexible and reliable. What has also helped MyWay Express Inc. is the affordability and transparency in our dealings with our clients.
