The feedback we got from the last edition of our reputable magazine reflects the power of the black people in our communities in Canada which enables us to go further with this new edition to interview the
great and talented black people who are successful in their various chosen careers, businesses and that are doing great things in making the ‘black lives matter in this part of the clime.
It is, however, worthy of note that The MALL also covers all aspects of lite including: Education; Entertainment; Human Angle; Culture & Tourism and Metro News, among many others.
It does not take a genius to spot the quality of Dr. Mary McCarthy Brandt, the notable historian who is a strong pillar for this generation and her contribution towards the Emancipation Day in New Brunswick is an expose on the amazing but understated awareness of her historical and current contributions in making New
Brunswick a better place.
The story of black people is always being told, but new chapter are added everyday, making it a never ending story. And, the End of Slavery in Canada has expressed by Yusuf Shire is something to remember as an important Canadian history because the Slavery Abolition Act affected the lives of those enslaved and the lives of their descendants.
The Youth Outreach Program has come to stay and being my brother’s keeper has always been my priority as a black, this is why this magazine will be granting interviews to blacks in Canada and chronicle their passions and pains and their experiences since they have been living in Canada.
We also have good entertaining and inspirational stories from the AFRO Festival and A Second Chance to Live Again As a Black Woman about Eryca Freemantle.
No doubt, our organization also promotes the good deeds of the Canadian Government and brings their unpublicized activities to the limelight like never before.
“We are bringing narratives and ideas from different blacks that reside in Canada including YOU before we spread it to the globe; our lives will be richer through the MALL publications’.
Our magazine may be undergoing a transformation but, in some shape or form, we will always be with you. Giving the black people hope as the publisher is my priority and once again, welcome to the world of The MALL.
